It is the specialty where lost teeth are replaced through the use of prostheses. This treatment is ideal to replace from one, to several dental pieces and even all the pieces of a patient's mouth. Type of dental prostheses
Fixed prostheses: A fixed or definitive prosthesis is placed with the help of implants (their number varies between four, six or eight) previously fixed to the maxilla and integrated into the bone. It will be on these that the denture is screwed, as if it were a normal one.
Removable prostheses: These are those prostheses that we can remove and put on as many times as we want. It can be partial or complete and is adhered by means of connectors.
